I just want to summarize some of what I said below. Because I tend to go into a lot of detail. But I think you have to be about detail with something as important as your life. So basically what I am saying is that I don’t think that Britney needs a psych evaluation that is about diagnosing her. And putting a label on her so they can try to push unneeded, poisonous psych meds on her. Britney is a healthy, very successful, very high functioning individual. It doesn’t get any better than that. And the judge has no right to order a psychiatric evaluation of her. At the least. It’s an unwarranted invasion of her privacy.
Britney may need some help with her parenting skills. Most young mothers do. All she needs to do is hire a good nanny to help her with her parenting skills. They can use the report from the court monitor as help too. Even “cognitive behavioral talk therapy” can be used to help her with her parenting skills.
If she is willing to do this. The judge should be more than satisfied.
I think Britney needs some help dealing with all the stress she is being put through. But that is none of the courts business. But “cognitive behavioral talk therapy” can help her at dealing with the stress in her life. But CBT is not, and should not be about diagnosing you. Or labeling you. It’s about helping you solve specific current problems like stress. And it’s about helping you cope in a positive way. If the court has a specific problem with Britney’s parenting skills. They should tell her. So she, and her nanny can address the courts legitimate concerns. Period…
